Flights
For the best fares and flight time, it is recommended to fly from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to San Jose International Airport (SJO), Costa Rica.
Transfer from San Jose (SJO) to El Tamarindo Airport with SANSA Airlines: To book your inbound charter flight, please visit www.flysansa.com. Please note that SANSA schedules flights up to 8 months in advance. Charter flight bookings will be available from December 2023.
Chartered inbound flights to transfer from San Jose (SJO) to El Tamarindo Airport are 50 minutes with SANSA Airlines. They operate the same schedule daily, with four flights per day from SJO:

4pm - 4.50pm
Please ensure flight times to and from San Jose take this into account, for smoother transfers. For longer flight times, opt to stay in San Jose, the heart of Costa Rica, ahead or at the end of your retreat.
Shuttles to and from El Tamarindo Airport to the retreat center (10 minutes) are included in your retreat costs. Please provide us with your confirmed booking and flight times so we may arrange this on your behalf for arrivals and departures.

Retreat Itinerary
Our 7-day yoga retreat in Costa Rica can be a rejuvenating and transformative experience. Costa Rica offers a lush natural environment and a tranquil atmosphere that's perfect for a yoga retreat. Here's a sample itinerary for your 7-day yoga retreat:
Day 1: Arrival and Welcome

Arrive in Costa Rica and check-in to your chalet.

Welcome orientation with your yoga instructor and fellow participants held Friday, July 19th at 6:30pm.

Evening gentle yoga and relaxation session to ease into the retreat.
Day 2: Morning Yoga and Nature Excursion

Power Yoga in the shala.

After breakfast, embark on a nature excursion. Options may include a rainforest hike, birdwatching, or a visit to a nearby waterfall.

Evening yoga session focusing on grounding and connecting with nature.
Day 3: Beach Day

Morning Meditation.

Spend the afternoon at a beautiful Costa Rican beach. You can relax and swim at your leisure.

Sunset yoga by the beach (6pm sunset).
Day 4: Strengthen and Uplift Day

Evening yin yoga and meditation to deepen your relaxation from the day.
Day 5: Cultural Experience

Power and Restore morning practice in the shala.

Day 6: Nature Immersion for Integration and Farewell

Sunrise yoga in the shala to reflect on your experiences.

Spend the day connecting with nature through local wildlife excursions or visit a wildlife sanctuary.

Evening yoga session focusing on balance and harmony.

Last evening meal with fellow participants and closing ceremony with group sharing and discussion to integrate your learnings and experiences.
Day 7: Departure

Morning yoga session to center yourself before departure.

Check out of the retreat center and head to the airport or your next destination.
